Get ready to kick up some dirt for a cause! The Wellton Offroad Adventure Group is excited to host our annual Poker Run on Saturday, February 22, 2025. This fun-filled event brings off-road enthusiasts together to enjoy a day of adventure while giving back to our local community.

Whether you ride a Jeep, side-by-side, motorcycle, or quad, this event is open to all off-road vehicles. It's not just about the trails; it's about making a difference. Proceeds from this event will support local charities and youth organizations while promoting responsible riding and trail preservation.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, February 22, 2025
Start Time: Registration from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Location: Starting at the dirt lot at Gila St and County 12th St, Wellton, AZ (32°38'56.2"N 114°08'53.2"W), where the Tractor Show is held.
Registration Fee:
- $30 per vehicle
- $20 for each additional poker hand

What You Get:

Each registration includes:

One Poker Hand: Compete for the best hand and win exciting prizes!
Prize Drawing Ticket: Automatically entered for a chance to win great prizes at the end of the event.

Additionally, the VFW will sell tickets for a Split the Pot Drawing at the starting line.

All drawings (Raffle and Split the Pot) will be held at Butterfield Park at 3:00 PM following the ride!

On the Trail:

Along the way, enjoy comfort stations manned by local youth organizations. These groups will sell goodies, food, and even lunch to raise money for their respective causes. Proceeds from the Poker Run entry fees will also benefit these organizations and other local charities, ensuring that every participant helps make a meaningful impact in the community.

Directions

The Poker run begins south of Wellton in the dirt lot where the Tractor Show is held each year. It will end in Butterfield Park across town where the annual Pioneer Days Fiesta is taking place.

From the West (Yuma):

Merge onto I-8 East heading toward Wellton.
Continue on I-8 East for approximately 25 miles.
Take Exit 30 for Avenue 29E toward Wellton.
At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Avenue 29E.
Continue north on Avenue 29E for about 1.5 miles.
Turn right onto County 11th Street and drive for approximately 2 miles.
At the end of County 11th Street, turn left onto Ave 33E.
Continue north on Ave 33E for about 2 miles. The destination (32°38'56.2"N 114°08'53.2"W) will be on your right.

From the East (Gila Bend/Dateland):

Merge onto I-8 West heading toward Wellton/Yuma.
Continue on I-8 West for approximately 35 miles.
Take Exit 30 for Avenue 29E toward Wellton.
At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Avenue 29E.
Continue north on Avenue 29E for about 1.5 miles.
Turn right onto County 11th Street and drive for approximately 2 miles.
At the end of County 11th Street, turn left onto Ave 33E.
Continue north on Ave 33E for about 2 miles. The destination (32°38'56.2"N 114°08'53.2"W) will be on your right.
